How Proxies Work
HTTP Proxy
HTTP proxies handle unencrypted web traffic. They forward the complete HTTP request to the target server, potentially modifying headers and hiding your real IP (1.1.1.1) with the proxy's IP (2.2.2.2).
HTTPS Proxy
HTTPS proxies use the CONNECT method to establish a tunnel for secure communications, allowing encrypted traffic to pass through without inspection. Your original IP is hidden, and content is encrypted.
SOCKS5 Proxy
SOCKS5 is a general-purpose proxy that works at a lower level than HTTP, supporting various protocols while masking your original IP address. It provides a tunnel without inspecting content.
